we’re excited to welcome Phil Ravesteyn as our guest speaker at Penrith Church of Christ. As a teenager, Phil had a life‑changing encounter with Jesus that set the course for everything that followed. Every major decision since has been shaped by one defining question: Is Jesus number one? Originally a builder, Phil moved from renovating homes to investing in people and restoring local churches. For more than 30 years he has served within Churches of Christ, leading with a deep passion for keeping Christ at the centre and inviting others to live fully in His Kingdom through discipleship and mission. In recent years, Phil’s walk with Jesus has drawn him into an even deeper place of surrender, formation, and joyful obedience—pursuing a life shaped entirely by God’s love. Phil is married to his beautiful wife, Meg, and together they enjoy a growing family of four children, three in‑laws, and four precious grandchildren. Phil’s greatest joy is simple: aligning his heart with God’s redemptive heart and faithfully sowing into whoever God places in his care. We can’t wait to hear from him.
