Gav and Sally have a deep desire to serve God first and, secondly, to invest in the wellbeing of our local Western suburbs. In this season, they feel especially called to walk alongside other local churches — offering friendship, encouragement, and practical support as we all seek to serve our communities together.

Guest Speaker: Gavin Wilson
Gavin and Sally Wilson first connected with Chad and Malisa Goucher from The Refinery Christian Church in Goodyear, Arizona, in 2024. After visiting the church in early 2025, they sensed a strong spiritual alignment and a feeling of “coming home.” This experience has led them to take a bold step of faith to plant The Refinery Christian Church in Sydney’s western suburbs.
Married for 21 years, Gavin and Sally are raising five children and a very indulged dog. Gavin completed theological studies at Morling College and is currently pursuing further ministry training at Alphacrucis University College. He is passionate about pastoral care, relational ministry, and helping people grow into their God‑given potential.
Outside ministry, Gavin enjoys good coffee, rock music, and following almost every sport. He’s hoping to learn guitar one day and continues to refine his BBQ and joke‑telling skills.
